Every quarter, we get together to be the hands and feet of Jesus with one of our local ministry partners for Go & Serve Day. This fall, we’re partnering with Feed My Starving Children. With God’s help and your support, Feed My Starving Children strives to eliminate starvation in children throughout the world. At FMSC, you will help pack life-saving meals for food displaced peoples around the world at their Richardson facility. To allow for more volunteers to participate, we have TWO dates available to serve — October 18th & 25th. Please make sure to register for the date that works best for you. Helpful tips: Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your packing session to check-in. Your orientation and packing instructions will take place during your scheduled shift time. This is a great opportunity for families to serve together! However, the minimum age for volunteering is 5 years old. For safety reasons, children under the age of 5 are not allowed to participate in packing sessions. Kids under the age of 15 must be accompanied by a parent. We recommend wearing closed-toe shoes and comfortable clothing. We are excited to GO & Serve our community as a church family!
